FACTS: Allopathic, Diet/Nourishment, Lifestyle & Disease

FACTS: Is the allopathic community becoming more aware of the connection between diet/nourishment, lifestyle, and disease?

I don’t think so.  I do see doctors that are becoming more holistic or integrative medical types but they don’t advocate what I think is a great dietary/nourishing plant-based lifestyle. What they’re really doing is substituting nutraceuticals for pharmaceuticals.  People come in to see me taking 80, 90, 100 supplements. Although, I do recommend probiotics, enzymes, Miror EPF and GreenFoods, taking a lot of supplements is not necessary. If a plant-based lifestyle (Your Healthy Journey) is lived properly, this can be achieved without doing it that way. Plus when you’re taking a lot of supplements, you’re overworking your body by stimulating it which requires more energy and eventually there will be a letdown. This is just like the addiction that I talk about that takes place with processed foods.

A friend of mine saw some very well-known person on television the other day who said that he had the answer to living forever. This person was taking 120 vitamin supplements.  Well, I hope this person is right for their sake but that’s not the way I look at it to be perfectly honest with you.

I think we’ve got to point science in the right direction to support the body’s function in a healthy way rather than the way they’re doing it now.  I’m sure everybody that’s involved in doing things the right way wants to see this happen; we need the research to support optimal and efficient health and lifestyle longevity. The quick fix doesn’t work and it never will!

 

When people become educated they’ll know what to do and they won’t need these nutraceutical substitutes. They’ll be able to stay away from a lot of these pills and pharmaceuticals and really enjoy their life in its highest form – simply.
