Facts: Internet Confusion, Nursing Homes, Poverty, Dynamic Words & Actions?

 

The confusion is getting deeper. I think a lot of that has to do with the Internet and how we are processing some much information today; everybody’s either goes to dr. goggle or has a website; trying to sell some new diet or a product that is just going to stimulate your adrenal glands to over function, just like the way people are driving themselves by over stimulating their lives. All this does is increase the aging process. Everybody in the raw food and plant based community now are coming up with new super foods that comes from the Amazon jungle or some new way where you could have the libido of a Mongolian warrior. People buy into this information. This multi-million-dollar business is just sheer nonsense.

Now I’ve seen this experience over and over again. Recently, I had the misfortune to have somebody that I care about very dearly, my mother-in-law to be honest with you, spend time in a nursing home. Believe me going to that nursing home was not pleasant. What I saw really going on, was just amazing. There were people that were there for 10 or 20 years that were 90, 95 and a few that were over 100 that didn’t look good at all. If you’re using those statistics to say people are living longer – well I don’t like, those kinds of numbers to be perfectly honest with you.

Poverty is a big factor. People are buying the cheapest food that stimulates their tastes and they’re at a complete disadvantage. They don’t really realize how bad it is for them. You can go into some of the playgrounds in New York City and see these fabulous looking athletes playing basketball, some young kid dunking a ball over the back of his head that has a fabulous physique and you see what their eating; it’s cake, cookies, junk food and soda. They develop this fabulous natural ability and they’re fueling themselves with processed food, which is a great source of fuel before it kills you in the long run. They don’t realize that when they get to be 55 or 60 they’re going to have high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, and they’re going to probably have joint problems – unless the very few who make it into the NBA, NFL or MLB get exposed to better information. Maybe??

Words and actions to live by. Knowing the human body, in its highest biological form, by providing all the nutrients that you need, connecting all the dots that forms your circle, get enough calories and sleep, drink enough clear water, being hopeful and optimistic, living one day at a time and most important becoming spiritually grounded – this will lead you to a dynamic life. If this is your path, you’re going to live a long time most likely and you’re going to have a great experience.

We are not consuming enough real, freshly-prepared plant food. The food giants are taking real food and they’re making junk food out of it. When you eat, processed foods, they add salt, fat, sugar, preservatives and coloring’s which have an impact on the hypothalamus gland; you become addicted.  That’s why a lot of people develop and express eating disorders that can lead to being overweight or obese; they cannot control themselves because that drive is powerful. It’s like the sex drive. Most people don’t realize what’s happening, it’s a big business. We need to take responsibility where we can, for what we can do.

I have run into people that don’t want to know the truth, they’re not interested in finding a way to become healthy by changing their nutritional life or the activities of their lifestyle. They don’t have the understanding of what the impact could be down the road. What people say to me sometimes sounds really ridiculous. One person said to me, I’m not afraid to die. They said; I want to live my life, I want to do whatever I want, I want to do things that other people don’t have the courage to do.  I said, well it’s not that simple. Well unfortunately, years later I heard from a relative – that this person became very sick and had developed MS.  It took a sometime before they needed a wheelchair and a long time before they succumbed. This is not really a good way of looking at life. We should be open to the truth/reality and the changes that it brings.

Politics has a lot to do with this.  The food giants and the pharmaceutical companies have a tremendous effect on the lobbyists in Washington.  They’re actually preventing a lot of information that would be conducive to help the average person become healthy, aware and get educated. Lobbyists have tremendous influence on laws that are being passed and the laws that should not. We all should take advantage of educating ourselves.

People are being fed statistics that says we’re living longer, doing better and the quality of life is improving. Well that’s not true either because more and more people are spending a lot of time walking around with walkers, or they’re sick all the time, or on lots of medications; they’re depressed, they have anxiety, or they’re spending the last years of their lives – five, 10 years or even longer in survival mode. This is not what I call the quality life of longevity!

What are the most appalling facts about the sad state of health today?

I think the most appalling of all is that there really is an answer that’s not complicated.  Most people are not aware of it; it’s not coming in our education.  We should have an educational system that’s teaching children about how to eat correctly, how to avoid the processed food, how to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables and small amounts of the other food, how to take care of yourself, how important exercise really is and ways to deal with anxiety and stress and some of the major problems in our society.  The truth is really being kept from people because you don’t see too much of this in the news media. It’s getting better now; more and more people are coming out with more positive suggestions.  People are just unaware. To me, that’s shocking that some people have no clue that the food they’re eating could have an influence on their health.

A lot of people don’t realize that the major cause of disease is their lifestyle: it’s what they’re doing, lack of exercise and not getting enough air. People need to maintain healthy thoughts and be spiritually grounded in addition to leaving out the processed food.

Most of the research is not looking at trying to find a way for people to get healthier. Most of the research is coming from pharmaceutical companies which might be counterproductive.

Disease is a business in this country. It’s not only a big business, it’s a billion-dollar business.  The food giants are taking good food and making junk out of it and making people sick.  The pharmaceutical companies have taken over, and the doctors are prescribing drugs or sending them for surgery, so they have a very unholy alliance here and it’s working out very well for them but as time goes on it’s not working out so good for the average person.
