Can I eat fruit if I have cancer or any other disease conditions? Part 1

The answer is no, but not for the reason most people think.  Most people think that when you’re eating fruit, the organic whole sugars are going to make you more vulnerable by feeding the cancer.  That’s not really true unless you’re a diabetic. If your blood sugar is between 70 and 80, and it’s under 140 two hours after you eat, it’s not really going to have an effect on your cancer.

The reason why people are thinking this is because they’re looking at what Otto Warburg said when he won a Nobel Peace Prize. Of course, what Otto Warburg said is basically true, that a cancer cell is an anaerobic cell and it doesn’t utilize oxygen. That’s why doctors think you have to kill a cancer cell.  There are a lot of people out there in the nutritional field that I think really don’t understand the nature of cancer.  I don’t want to sound arrogant in any way, but they really don’t understand it.

My personal belief is that all disease, including cancer, really begins in the upper GI tract and most people are focused on the lower GI tract, which is very important. But they need to focus on the upper GI tract – where there are 16 to 20 feet of intestines with all kinds of folds.  Your upper GI tract is like a second brain.  It has a tremendous effect on your whole chemistry and can influence your brain.

A lot of people, even if they’re moving their bowels three times a day, are really suffering from constipation of the upper GI tract, because what you ate four or five days ago is just finally coming out today. It’s passing through the upper GI tract very slowly. When that happens, you’ve got a real problem – especially if you’re eating meat, and especially if you’re eating meat that has hormones, added chemicals, and pesticides from whatever’s in the animal feed.  Even methane gas is transferred from the upper GI tract into your blood through the villi. A lot of people have this indigestion, which is really a rotting fermentation process taking place in the upper GI tract, for years.
