FACTS: Important Alkaline Foods!

What are alkaline foods and why are they important to eat?

Fred Bisci

The most powerful alkaline foods are the green chlorophyll-rich foods, predominantly green vegetables, sprouts and green juices. Alkaline foods have an effect on Blood PH which is supposed to be about 7.4 but although, Blood PH is a good general indicator of health it fluctuates down no matter what you’re eating. The alkaline foods biochemically help the body have the opportunity for homeostatic balance within your PH. This is the reason for making fresh, clean, organic alkaline foods a foundation in your lifestyle.

I also recommend blending up some of your vegetables at a slow RPM; this way you’re getting the inulins and the glucosaccharides, which are very powerful prebiotics. This is food that helps for the good probiotics flourish and increase colonization which takes a burden off your immune system.

The real problem with people in general that are introducing raw and cooked alkaline foods into their life is they don’t have enough healthy intestinal flora. That’s why they have difficulties like bloated bellies. When that happens, you’re loaded with gas and it could destroy your Vitamin B12 and breakdown its production cycle which can make you more vulnerable to disease.

I recommend that you design a whole food plant lifestyle that you can stay with for the rest of your life. Give it a real chance to work. Exercise, drink clean water, maintain positive thoughts, be spiritually grounded, and get out in the fresh air. All these things increase your alkalinity in addition to the foods you eat. Most other activities build up an acid environment within the body. The main one is consuming processed foods!
