 Is endurance and cross training doable while achieving all your normal daily activities without burn out? Yes, but you have to train smart, be consistent and live a high quality life. Get enough calories to meet the activity, by not over or under doing. This is a big key. You have to be able to recognize that in your body, without reaching to external stimulation. This will drive you to burn out. Fred has found that when you lead a high quality lifestyle of Your Healthy Journey, you will always be able to finish strong!

But when I started to get enough calories I started to fly through the marathons. I also did some cross training. I used to ride my bike and I had a friend, a young guy, who could have been my oldest grandchild, who always wanted to go for a bike ride. At that time, I didn’t ride that much but one day he asked me to take a bike ride. I was not a kid but he showed no mercy. We biked from the Staten Island, NY. to Flemington, NJ. which was 90 miles round trip and it was 90 degrees that day. I wasn’t really training at that level but I was feeling real good and I finished strong!!”
