THE FATE OF OUR NATION: 

All people will develop inflammation /degenerative conditions throughout our lives. Senescence or biological aging is the gradual deterioration of cellular function of most complex life forms found in all biological kingdoms where an organism increases mortality after maturation.

Is this really what we have to accept as a human species?

I will tell you nothing is 100% but 85% or more of inflammation are caused by lifestyle.

This is not necessarily so if you’re open to looking at a lifestyle change and staying committed and consistent throughout your lifetime Journey.

There is no one Universal answer in life but when you apply what works and what doesn’t at least you present yourself with the best opportunity!

When we come to this eventual realization; Our choices will let our body have the real control of your immediate environment in your lifestyle.

This will lead you to prevention and recovery.

I personally believe that all inflammation/chronic disease are definitely caused by lifestyle. I have seen this by working with over 25,000 people for the last 55 years which has shown me what works and what doesn’t.

Degenerative Inflammatory Conditions & Long-Term Health

Long-Term Health is Done Daily:

Degenerative inflammatory conditions  generally comes from living the excessive routine mechanics of poor quality nourishment, smoking, drinking alcohol and coffee, not getting enough rest, recreational drugs and/or pharmaceutical drugs that over-prescribed chronically and of course processed food; this is a declining approach to aging.

Is it worth looking at your life and making the daily lifetime changes for quality longevity?

For the ongoing athlete, I have seen for years, people running tremendously long distances or lifting heavy weights that are fueling themselves with poor quality nourishment, that is not optimal. Although a person may think it is working for them, the body is just responding to anything you do through homeostasis (The ability of a cell to maintain internal equilibrium by adjusting its physiological processes to maintain bodily equilibrium). If this not done correctly you will be an aging athlete with free radical damage which will increase you probability of degeneration and continual inflammation.

There are people who are into body building and weight lifting and are able to put a incredible amount of weight over their head or do heavy bench presses. They’re huge and they’re eating five or six meals a day with lots of animal protein. They think they’re on a perfect diet because this approach is producing what they’re looking for strength; but is it going to produce long-term optimal health?

Do we need to look at what’s really optimal in life.

Today’s overweight youth have a bigger risk and a greater epigenetics (daily behaviors, routines and habits effects your gene switches) expression of developing degenerative inflammatory conditions than their parents. There is so much over-stimulation from everything in our culture that many people are over compensating. Combine this with the social and internet stresses and people will eat more and more junk food which leaves no room for enough fruits and vegetables.

I was shocked the other day when a young person told me they didn’t know what celery looked like and what Brussels Sprouts were and they had never eaten any fruit; that’s amazing to me.

What are people doing to ourselves and how can they become more aware? 

Let’s wake up and understand that there is a way decrease our inflammatory patterns by applying the assume benefits of the plant kingdom, we all need to eat fresh fruits and vegetables every day no matter what!

We love cherries in America. The United States are the biggest producer, user and exporter of cherries in the world. The Bing cherry is the tastiest, firmest, meatiest and largest cherry grown and is considered a fleshy and succulent drupe enclosing a single seed within (stone fruit).

Cherries have their own mineral/vitamin storehouse: calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, potassium, vitamin A, B-Complex vitamins and vitamin C.

The compounds found in cherries can influence numerous biochemical pathways. The compounds can turn the epigenetic switches off and on to protect against degenerative situations associated with inflammation.

The powerhouse flavonoid nutrients of cherries are responsible for their deep colors and deliver substantial antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity which slows down the aging process.

In a double-blind, randomized trial, runners participated in a 24-hour relay race. They drank two 12 oz. juices daily for one week prior to the race and during the race. These runners experienced a substantially smaller pain increase after the race. Scientists also conducted a second controlled trial on muscle recovery. Participants drink five days before, on the day of, and for two days after a marathon race. They had significantly lower inflammation bio-markers (Interleukin-6 and C-reactive protein). They also recovered isometric strength faster and demonstrated an accelerated recovery following this strenuous exercise.

Fred was familiar with all the old timer strength and body builders and Fred never knew one person in all his years that lived up till their eighties or nineties.

There were a few that got into their early eighties but they were crippled with arthritis and degeneration. The people that Fred did see change for the better were because they became vegetarians or vegans.
